Avid Editing Classes

Industry Film School is an Avid Authorized Education Center. Classes are taught by Avid Certified Instructors in addition to being professionals working in the field. Avid Media Composer classes use Avid’s authorized curriculum to ensure you are getting the highest level of education directly from Avid.

We offer 3 versions of training on the Avid Media Composer.

(1) Professional Editing with Media Composer: An after school program designed for high school and college level students that runs over the course of a semester. This course is intended for students already familiar with the editing process or students that are brand new to the process.

(2) Avid Media Composer ACU Prep and Exam: An accelerated program for students already familiar with the Avid Media Composer software. This course will cover the core aspects of the program that will ensure the students pass the ACU exam. This course begins May 14th 4-5:30pm and runs for 6 weeks.

(3) Professional Editing with Media Composer: A One-Week (5 Day) course that will consist of full day training. We only offer two sessions of this class during our Spring Semester. (March 26-30 or June 25-29) 10-5pm
