Industry Film School is an Avid Authorized Education Center.  This course is a shortened 6 week accelerated course for students already familiar with Media Composer.  It is intended for students in High School or College that are currently taking or have taken an editing course and would like to become an Avid Certified User.  Classes are taught by Avid Certified Instructors in addition to being professionals working in the field.  Avid Media Composer classes use Avid’s authorized curriculum to ensure you are getting the highest level of education directly from Avid.

This course provides students with exposure to the core skills, workflows, and concepts involved in professional nonlinear editing on Avid Media Composer systems. During the course you will use the Avid system to input and organize source footage, edit sync and non‐sync material, trim sequences, adjust audio, and create titles.  Session time is divided between demonstration with limited hands-on practice.
