This editing course will take the students through the post production process from capture or ingesting to output, encoding and mastering to DVD. Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro are the tools that will used during this course to educate the student in non linear editing environment.

This course also introduces students to the various interfaces, tools, effects and compositing techniques used in various movies and television shows.

Students interested in pursuing a career in editing should consider the Avid Media Composer Certification course. Past students that have taken this class have had advantages for college admissions as well as internships. One past student is currently an Assistant Editor in LA and a member of Motion Pictures Editors Guild.
