This class is an intensive course in the art and craft of photography.  This program is designed to be hands-on approach to teaching students the skills, techniques and aesthetics needed to create a portfolio of work.  The students will create a body of work that will demonstrate their personal and professional signature in every photo.  Classes are taught by working professionals in the field.  This gives the students a real life perspective on what it takes to become

Topics covered throughout the course will include framing shots, portraits, lighting, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, and archiving your work.  Weekly shooting assignments will be given to students that will be presented during the following classes for discussion and review.  Industry Film School has tripods for the students to use, but students should have their own manual SLR camera.  Whether it’s film or digital, is up to the student, but keep in mind that processing film takes time and could be costly.  In addition to their own camera a thumb drive is also required to back up photos.
