The Industry Film School’s Summer Filmmaking curriculum begins with intense training on professional equipment used in this industry. From cameras to editing and lighting, each student is immersed into the world of filmmaking. Our student’s are taken through a process of screen writing, directing, camera techniques and editing that help them achieve their goal of creating a final short film. The students also rotate crew positions on other projects as other classmates produce their projects.
Our equipment is professional industry standard from 16mm film cameras to High Def and HDSLR camera packages. Students have a range of audio, grip and lighting at their disposal along with editing workstations consisting of Avid and Final Cut Pro software.
Serious training in visual arts requires time, patience, and commitment. These production courses are hands-on, project based classes developed for the serious student looking to develop professional quality work and/or portfolios for college admissions. Students who wish to enroll in multiple sessions will gain additional time and practice towards perfecting their craft and portfolio work.
